NEW YORK, born and raised, plaid uniforms ruled my world Monday thru Friday until the age of 17. It was no surprise to everyone when my rebellious weekend dress-ups evolved into serious discussion of a career choice and college track. After a semester at the Art School of Chicago, I returned to NYC for four years at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Those years were filled with endless nights and days of sewing and self-discovery. My mantra of "watch me do it" got me thru friendly competition and great expectations of faculty. Fresh out of school I worked in-house as a stylist and assistant art director for a children's clothing company before diving head first into freelance wardrobe and prop styling. These days I happily invite the challenges and excitement each new job opportunity brings my way encouraging new clients and returning clients alike to "watch me do" whatever it is they need.
